NMN insulation material usually consists of three layers: a layer of polyester film in the middle (also said to be made of polyimide film) and Nomex paper on both sides. Both Mylar and polyimide films have good dielectric strength and heat resistance, while Nomex paper is known for its excellent high temperature resistance, flame retardant and mechanical toughness. The close combination of these three layers of materials makes NMN excellent in both electrical and mechanical properties.
AMA insulation material is a composite material consisting of a polyester film in the middle and aramid paper on both sides. Its temperature resistance grade is F (155 ℃). AMA insulation material is usually off-white or white, but the color may vary by brand and production process.
According to its mechanical strength and thermal stability, AMA composite insulation paper can be divided into various grades, commonly including AMA-A, AMA-B, and AMA-F. AMA composite insulation paper of different grades is suitable for different insulation systems of power equipment.
AMA Composite Insulating paper:
High temperature resistance: Heat resistance up to 180℃.
Fire resistance and high pressure: Excellent fire resistance and high pressure resistance.
Good mechanical toughness: Due to the addition of aramid paper, its mechanical toughness has been improved.
Good dielectric strength: The addition of polyester film enhances its dielectric strength.
NMN Composite insulating paper:
Excellent insulation performance: Electrical characteristics are basically unchanged at high temperature.
High temperature resistance: It can withstand high temperatures in a short time.
Good wear resistance: The inner and outer two layers of polyester film has very good wear resistance.
Long service life: Due to its excellent performance, its service life is relatively long.
AMA composite insulation paper: It is widely used in electrical equipment, especially in the motor slot insulation, turn insulation and liner insulation. Its excellent high temperature resistance and fire resistance make it widely used in electrical equipment requiring high safety.
NMN composite insulating paper: It is also widely used in motor winding and separator and other parts, as well as electrical insulation, motor manufacturing, shipbuilding, aircraft manufacturing, substation equipment and other fields. AMA composite insulation paper: Due to the addition of aramid paper, its heat resistance rating is higher. It usually reaches F class or higher (depending on product specifications and production process).
NMN composite insulating paper: The heat resistance grade is usually H. But depending on the specific product and production process, it may also reach a higher heat resistance grade.
