Phenolic resin sheet is a thin plate material made of phenolic resin and filler. It has excellent physical properties, such as heat resistance, acid and alkali resistance, etc., and is suitable for construction, electronics, chemical industry, machinery and other fields.
1. Size:
The size of phenolic resin sheet usually varies according to the production line of the manufacturer and the needs of customers. Common phenolic resin sheet thickness is 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, and the length and width are generally 1.22m*2.44m (4’x8′) or 1.25m*2.5m. Other sizes such as 610mm x 1220mm are also common. In addition, some manufacturers can customize the size according to customer needs.
2. Density:
The density of phenolic sheet is usually between 800 kg/m³ and 1200 kg/m³, and the specific value will vary depending on the thickness of the sheet, the production process and the additives. The higher the density, the better the strength and durability of the sheet, but it will also increase the weight. When choosing, you can determine the appropriate density according to the actual application requirements.
3. Temperature resistance:
Phenolic sheet usually has good high temperature resistance, and the temperature resistance range is generally between 120℃ and 180℃. Some special sheets can achieve higher temperature resistance values.
4. Fire resistance:
The fire resistance level of phenolic resin sheet is usually B1 or B2, depending on the production process used and the added fireproof materials.
B1 (flame-retardant): indicates that the material will not burn quickly after contact with the flame, has good fire resistance, and is suitable for places with high fire protection requirements, such as public buildings, laboratories, etc.
B2 (combustible): indicates that the material may burn after contact with the flame, but the burning speed is slow, which is suitable for general interior decoration.
5. Color:
The colors of phenolic resin sheets are also rich, including black, white, brown, red, gray and other colors. In addition, the colors can also be customized according to customer needs.
