NMN insulation material usually consists of three layers: a layer of polyester film in the middle (also said to be made of polyimide film) and Nomex paper on both sides. Both Mylar and polyimide films have good dielectric strength and heat resistance, while Nomex paper is known for its excellent high temperature resistance, flame retardant and mechanical toughness. Motor manufacturing: NMN insulation material is one of the important materials in motor manufacturing. It is mainly used for motor slot, slot cover and phase insulation. It can withstand various mechanical and electrical stresses during the operation of the motor to ensure the stable operation of the motor.
DMD is a high temperature laminated insulation material, composed by two layers of non woven polyester and one central layer of polyester. The temperature resistance grade is F, that is, 155℃. The executive standard for DMD insulation paper is JB/T 4060-1991 and the product color is usually white. Its thickness is between 0.10mm and 0.50mm and its width is between 980mm and 990mm.

Slot insulation: DMD insulation materials are often used for groove insulation of motors, especially in situations where high dielectric strength and heat resistance are required. It can effectively prevent the current from flowing from one coil to another coil and avoid the occurrence of short circuit faults.
Interturn insulation: In the winding of the motor, DMD insulation material is also often used as interturn insulation. It can ensure the electrical isolation between each turn coil, prevent current leakage and short circuit between turns, thus protecting the motor winding from damage.
Gasket insulation: DMD insulation materials can also be used as motor gasket insulation, such as end cover gasket, bearing gasket, etc. These gaskets ensure electrical isolation and mechanical support between the internal components of the motor, improving the overall stability and reliability of the motor.
Interlayer isolation: In the multi-layer windings of the motor, DMD insulation material is also used as interlayer insulation to ensure electrical isolation and heat resistance between the various layers of windings.
SMC machined part is molded from unsaturated polyester glass fiber reinforced laminate molded products in various colors. It’s short for Sheet molding compound. The main raw materials are GF (special yarn), UP (unsaturated resin), low shrinkage additives, MD (filler) and various additives. It first appeared in Europe in the early 1960s, and was developed in the United States and Japan around 1965. At the end of 80′s, our country introduced foreign advanced SMC production line and production technology.

Manufacturing of motor stator and rotor: SMC material is often used in the manufacturing of motor stator and rotor because of its excellent magnetic and mechanical properties. By coating the surface of the insulating particles with iron powder, a soft magnetic composite (SMC) is made. This material has low eddy current loss at high frequencies and is suitable for use in electric motors.
Motor core fabrication: SMC material can be used to make the core part of a motor. Due to the characteristics of its insulating particle surface, SMC material can maintain good dielectric properties at high frequencies. At the same time, it is not subjected to electromagnetic action and does not reflect electromagnetic waves, which makes it have a unique advantage in motor design.
Insulation of motor winding: In the winding part of the motor, SMC material can be used as insulation material to ensure good insulation between the winding and to prevent current leakage and short circuit .
PET film is a kind of high performance plastic film. It is made from polyethylene terephthalate (PET) by extrusion and biaxial drawing process. PET film has excellent physical properties, chemical properties and dimensional stability, transparency and recyclability.

Motor groove insulation: PET film is mainly used in motor groove insulation, especially in DuPont’s EM film, this film is widely used in the motor motor insulation groove. During the production process, the film is made into a U-shape and inserted into the U-shape slot of the rotor to provide good insulation .
Interturn insulation: PET film is also used for interturn insulation of the motor to ensure that there is no short circuit or leakage between the turns during the operation of the motor, so as to improve the safety and reliability of the motor .
Diphenyl ether fiberglass cloth laminated board, short for diphenyl ether board, is made of alkali free fiberglass cloth for electrical purposes impregnated with diphenyl ether resin after baking and hot pressing with higher dielectric property and mechanical property, great machinability, excellent radiation resistance, corrosion resistance and self extinguishing. The insulation class is H class.

Insulating structural parts: Because diphenyl ether fiberglass cloth laminate has high mechanical and dielectric properties, as well as good radiation resistance. So it is very suitable as an insulating structural part in the motor. Groove insulation: NHN 6650 insulation can be used in the stator or rotor groove of the motor to effectively isolate the current between the coil and the iron core to prevent short circuit and leakage.
Interturn insulation: Between the coil turns of the motor, NHN 6650 insulation can be used as an insulating layer to prevent the leakage of interturn current and short circuit to ensure the normal operation of the motor.
Liner insulation: Between various parts of the motor, such as coil to core, coil to coil, NHN 6650 insulation can be used as liner insulation to provide additional insulation protection.
Interlayer insulation: In Class H dry transformers, NHN 6650 insulation can be used as interlayer insulation to ensure electrical isolation between layers of coils.
