EPGC 308  Processing Method

The EPGC 308 epoxy fiberglass sheet can be processed into various parts by lathe processing, stamping, trimming, drilling, sandblasting, milling, sawing and milling.

Attention

  1. During storage and machining, moisture should be avoided. If damp, bake at a lower temperature.
  2. Due to the different properties of laminate and metal, appropriate methods must be used in machining to avoid loss.
  3.  The thermal conductivity of laminate is small, so high cutting speed and small feed amount should be used in machining.
  4.  Laminate will produce dust and odor during processing and necessary labor protection measures should be taken.
  5. Laminate is easy to absorb moisture after processing, so it should be insulated.

Disadvantages

1.Poor wear resistance: Although EPGC 308 epoxy fiberglass sheet  has high mechanical strength, its wear resistance is relatively poor. It may appear wear marks or damage quickly when subjected to wear.
2.Greater brittleness: This material may be broken or damaged when subjected to greater impact force or vibration. Therefore, in the case of large impact force or vibration, special attention needs to be paid to its use conditions and protective measures.
