In 1958, Northeast Electrician Seven Factory and Northeast Electrician Four Factory who were directly affiliated to the central government moved into Xuchang city, Henan provice and established "State-run Xuchang Insulation Materials Factory" and "State Xuchang Insulation Materials Research Institute".

In 1962, the Xujue insulation materials company successfully developed B-class, F-class insulation impregnated paint, 1730 enamel paint line, becoming one of the three major manufacturers in China.

In 1975, the Xujue insulation material factory in the introduction of the former Soviet Union on the basis of glass cloth, self-developed 2432 alkyd silicone glass cloth, 2310 polyester paint thick, 2210 Polyester paint thick, 2450 Silicone varnished glass cloths, filled the gaps in domestic production and access the State Ministry of Machinery Industry excellent products.

In 1987, Xuchang Insulation Materials Main Factory produced 380 high strength bearing cloth tube, obtained high-quality production in Henan Province, replacing the low noise bearings cage importing situation, and widely used in military-industrial industry.
